Good week,

Yay, I lost another 2.8 lbs!
After weigh in, my honey took me to have sushi for Valentine's Day. I love sushi and you can have a lot of it with minimal calories if you stay away from the fried stuff.
I'm still struggling with the exercise but I hope to do better this week. It's been beautiful out here in Colorado the past few days so I need to take advantage of being able to run outside. Matt and I are going to do a 10k in May so I'd better get on it! :)

What the???

So I just got back from my week 3 weigh in and I was actually down .2 lbs. Doesn't seem like much but when I walked in and I was expecting to gain at least 2 lbs. Needless to say, I was not counting my points yesterday. In fact, I know I probably drank all of my points! That's the beauty of WW though I think. You can have your "bad days" and still keep on track. No matter how small that "track" is.
I am going to do better this week and I also commit to exercising. Something I did none of last week.
Thanks for reading my silly little blog, you have no idea how much it helps me. :)

Week 1 - weigh in day

So I went to WW and weighed in today. I lost 3.4 pounds this week and I am now 178.2. I have 5.6 pounds until my first goal. I figure I can do that in the next few weeks. :)
The first week wasn't too bad. I saved up my extra points and I ate most of them yesterday at a football party. It's always nice to know that you can eat bad once in a while and still lose weight.
This week I have committed to my whole WW group that I will get at least 10 minutes of extra activity in every day. I am also committing to everyone that I will run at least 3 times this week. It's been crazy since moving to Colorado and I have done almost NO running. It's also too icy on the roads and trails to run outside so I'm having to do it on a treadmill which I really don't like but I will have to deal with it!

Thanks for caring everyone!

Football Sunday

So our new neighbors invited us over to watch the football game tonight. Here comes my first test. They are making chili, nachos, chips and dip. And of course there will be beer! :)
One of the things that I love about WW is that I can eat all of this stuff, just in moderation. I will stay away from the nachos and chips though. So I decided that since this will be really hard, I just made my first batch of homemade spicy black bean hummus (yumm!) and I will take that over there with me along with baby carrots for dipping.
My first weigh in is tomorrow so I will let you all know how that went!

Have a great day and Go Packers and Jets!!

Day 1 - so far so good

Day 1 went well! I am supposed to eat 29 points in a day and I am only at 26. Now I need to find something worth 3 points to eat. With WW, you have to make sure that you get enough calories in for each day or you will actually lose less weight. Weird concept huh? I guess I need to plan better.

Thanks for supporting me! xoxo

Moment of truth!

Okay, it's the moment of truth. I went to Weight Watchers last night and I weighed in at 181.6. OUCH!!! I was only 182 when I gave birth to Bailey! Oh well, I guess I have to start somewhere.
So I am currently trying to log in to the Weight Watchers (WW) website but I am having some issues. Hopefully I will be able to get in here soon so that I can figure out what my points are! They totally changed the whole program so I can't go off of past knowledge. I will keep you posted.
Thanks for helping to keep me accountable!

Here we go!

Okay, here we go. I am embarking on a weight loss journey and I hope you will come along with me. I REALLY need the support and I think this will help to hold me accountable.
I have always struggled with my weight but it seems to have really gotten out of control this past few years. I am going to go back to Weight Watchers tonight and I will let you guys know what the verdict is but I am telling you that I know I need to lose at least 50 pounds. Now to my wonderful husband who says that I don't need to lose anything, "I love you!!" and I am very happy to have a man who loves me no matter what but I need to lose this weight for me. And I'm sure he'll reap the benefits of a more self-confident me. :)
Please excuse the way my blog looks right now, I promise to work on it!
